meet and bring help to the Vaudois, protestant inhabitants of the
valleys.
Like this, in his "Narrative of an excursion to the mountains of Piemont and researches among the vaudois, or waldenses protestant inhabitants of the Cottian Alps" he introduces the inhabitants of the Vallyes to the reader in 1823.
